Alana graduated university with a law degree, before deciding to pursue her passion for Public Relations. Since completing a Bachelor of Communications she has specialised in public affairs and crisis management. For the last 15 years she has worked as a senior account executive for an Australian based PR agency, before making the move to South Korea where she opened SunMedia.
SunMedia has been operating since early 2008, and offers a multitude of communication solutions for its clients. Alana works within the Korean public affairs industry and has been heavily involved in the health industry.
Hannah is an experienced corporate relations advisor with specialist expertise in Asian countries. She has worked on significant assignments including development of communication strategies, media training, crisis management and media relations.
Prior to entering the public relations sector Hannah spent nearly twenty years in senior journalist roles including stints in South Korea and Hong Kong and with The Age newspaper. She's received several PRIA awards for campaign excellence.
Louise has 15 years’ experience working in, management and public relations. She joined SunMedia in 2008 as a consultant and became a permanent part of the team in 2009, as SunMedia found her cultural knowledge and management skills were necessary.
Louise has an extensive network of contacts in the Asia-Pacific Region; the media, environmental and community, industry associations and the corporations that service International Australian Businesses.
Prior to SunMedia, Louise worked as a management speciallist, visiting Australian businesses and giving seminars and workshops in adapting to social change when partaking in PR/business expansions in the Asia Pacific Region. Making her the most sort after specialist in this field.
Louise holds a Bachelor of Arts (Communications/PR)/ Business Studies from the Charles Sturt University Bathurst, and a Master of International Business management from the University of Sydney.
Caroline Raffan - Public Affairs Manager
An experienced political and policy consultant, Caroline Raffan has more than a dozen years’ experience in developing and implementing complex strategic communications campaigns on behalf of government, business and the community. Since joining SunMedia in 2008 she has led a number of the company’s award winning client accounts.
Caroline’s particular expertise is in the public policy issues and challenges facing the South Korean / Australian industry, as well as the link between business operations and the increasing social and environmental considerations driven by community and government.
Prior to joining SunMedia, Sarah spent three years as a senior manager at a leading industry association, promoting the interests of business to State and Federal Government. She also spent four years as a political adviser to Federal Government.
Caroline has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Organizational communication from Charles Sturt University.
Naomi has been with SunMedia since early 2009. She relocated to South Korea and became a partner and a Director of Account Management at SunMedia in April 2009.
Prior to living in South Korea, Naomi spent 3 years working for the Ogilvy group in the UK – her roles there included Financial Accountant for O&M, finance systems training for Ogilvy in Europe, systems analysis and implementation and many other diverse projects.
She holds a Masters in Public Relations from Charles Sturt University Bathurst and is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.
